went to yumei's(ym) bdae party today with sy and kx. she's 1 of our sec sch fren, not exactly my best fren but we did interact during sec sch.
quite surprisingly, yumei invited weizhi(wz). i dint see wz for 5 years, which is after our O levels. heard from others tt she got into law course in NUS. i was telling kx, our sec sch teachers muz be so proud of our sec 4 class. we have a doctor(NUS meds sch) and a lawyer(wz) plus many engineers. considering tt our sch is a neighbourhood sch notorious for smoking and ah beng students, its quite an achievement. haha. but both of them are not our top students tt time. quite interesting i muz say.
our class top guy is now studying economics in SMU. e 2nd girl is in UK and i dunno wat is she doing cos we lost contact a yr after sec 4. 3rd girl is kx who is in NTU doing chemical and biomolecular engineering.
sometimes i wonder if i work slightly harder last time, would i achieve the same as them? my results was better than e meds student and lawyer last time(well, and so did many others) and if i study harder.....
no, i noe i would not be like them. im not as hardworking and i crumple upon stress. tho EEE is not my initial option for career, i guess i would not have been happier if i were doing something else. i get to know so many nice friends in e course, they dun backstab, we "fight" the exams together, we share the common interest, they accompany me thru ups and downs of uni life...
i believe our lives is already planned for us, we juz got to accept watever tt comes along and embraced it. God (or buddha if u prefer. heh) muz have their reason for planning our lives this way. it muz have been e best for us. im happy with my life now. very contented indeed. :)
