SECOND DAY

XiMenTing in the morning

had breakfast at KFC (background) near our hotel

KFC egg tarts are very nice lo. Why sg dun have ar? :(

Saw this group of scouts and guides outside XiMen station. they look so cute

guess where is this place? hint: its not a hotel

not a lounge too

Its PARTY WORLD KTV!! the party world in tw is super grand lo. we went to try their ktv experience. their room even have toilet inside wan lo. so u dun have to go outside of ur room to use toilet. so hotel-like. haha. thumb-up to their sound system too!!

Pretty sweets

and pastries..

from milkHouses :)

Taipei MRT

Next stop: HouShanPi (Wu Fen Pu, taipei biggest wholesale fashion district)

sorry for the blur pic tho. heh

walking to WuFenPu

taipei's houses all look so old right? lol

we saw this VERY FAMOUS RuRouFan(braised pork rice)shop in WuFenPu and we HAVE to try it!!! read from papers that stefanie sun love this shop too!! the shop name is Hu Xu Zhang Ru Rou Fan. lol. their rice really quite nice. e gravy is very tasty!! yum! :)
PS: dunno y kx took this pic with e head. i dun even noe who e head belongs to, maybe a passerby. lol. anyway, its e signboard that is impt! :)
we only bought a few tops from WuFenPu. I dun really find the things there nice leh, tho kx's friends buy like mad there. haha. its just another bugis in my opinion, only it is abt 10 times bigger. lol. I'm not kidding lo, i walk until my leg ache.

Dinner at RaoHe Night Market

RaoHe is big and crowded. can see tt taiwanese love night market a lot. i think they can go everyday and not feel sianz. lol.

Full and tired after a whole day of shopping so we headed back to hotel.
the mrt seats are oriented differently from ours.

they have rubbish bins in their mrt station!! taiwanese are very conscious of the environment. they have different bins for different types of rubbish and they dun give out plastic bags unless u are willing to pay for one. Not to mention they are super courteous too. commuters always stand on the right hand side of the escalator cos the left side is reserved for commuters who are in a rush. youngsters give up their seats readily and most of the times i dun even see youngsters taking up empty seats, they rather stand and leave the seats for more deserving pple. oh, and taiwanese queue to go into the train lar. not like singaporean who just rush in when train doors open. i feel so ashamed when i am in tw.
